BSNS 440 - Marketing Research 3 hours Marketing research methods, role of marketing research information as a tool in management decision-making. Emphasis is on current marketing research theory and literature as well as practical application. The class conducts a hands-on marketing research activity working with a real world client case study.
Students will take the primary and secondary research that they have developed and turn the data into actionable insights that can be used to create a fully integrated marketing campaign and media plan. Students may also present their research-driven-campaign in regional and national competitions during the Spring Semester. This course is part 1 of 2 continuation courses where Marketing Research is followed the next semester with Advertising and Promotions.
All non-marketing majors must attain written permission from marketing faculty prior to registering for the course. Prerequisite(s): BSNS 160 , BSNS 171 , BSNS 241 , BSNS 253 . UG
