BSNS 240 - Entrepreneurial Finance 3 hours This course introduces students to the unique understandings of finance, specifically geared towards entrepreneurial startups to provide students with the perspective of the potential investors. In addition, this course helps aspiring entrepreneurs understand how to create financial statements such as the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows. Students will understand how to read and interpret the statements, theories of optimal capital structure to maximize firm value, and derive costs of capital for the various sources of funding. From that, students will also understand how to raise capital, the various sources of capital, and how funding has changed over the years. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 110 , ACCT 111 , BSNS 150 . UG
