NURS 330 - Pathophysiology 3 hours This pathophysiology for nursing course is designed to introduce the basic concepts of pathophysiology and how these concepts relate to disease processes and clinical practice across the lifespan. Students will examine the phenomena that produce alterations in human physiological function. The content will build on previous and concurrent course work such as anatomy and physiology, microbiology, chemistry, and nutrition. The mechanisms of underlying clinical manifestations, prevention, and treatment of diseases will also be discussed. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 246 and BIOL 247 . UG
