CJUS 351 - Computer Crime Investigation 3 hours This course is designed to provide the student with a rudimentary understanding of the expanding field of computer crimes and how they are investigated. The unique challenges, limitations, liabilities, and goals of the computer crime investigator will be revealed to the student through the examination of the operations and interrelationship of computers, software, and the internet. Also addressed will be the emerging field of forensic computer science as well as the investigation of cybercrimes and offenses. These include intellectual property theft, cyber fraud, sexual victimization through electronic means, identity theft, financial crimes, and cyber bullying. Prerequisite(s): CJUS 243 . UG
