NRSG 685 - FNP Immersion Experience 1 hour This course is organized to offer a hands-on experience for FNP students to acquire new knowledge on medically managing chief complaints and practice advanced practice nursing skills commonly encountered among patients across the life span in primary-care settings. The purpose is to create a safe environment that allows the FNP student to practice their skills and knowledge with their classmates prior to completing the program. The immersion experience will focus on evidenced-based and experiential learning that will ensure high-quality patient outcomes under the direct supervision of faculty members. There will be an emphasis on the transition into the FNP role as an ethical leader and the impact that the FNP student has on the organization. The immersion experience should take place near the end of the program. Prerequisite(s): NRSG 627 Corequisite(s): NRSG 671 /NRSG 665 or NRSG 672 /NRSG 665 . GR
