FACS 370 - Nutritional Biochemistry 3 hours Nutritional biochemistry is the study of nutrition as a science. Nutritional biochemistry deals with macro and micronutrients, food constituents and their function regarding human health. Nutritional biochemistry specifically focuses on nutrient chemical components, and how they function biochemically, physiologically, metabolically, as well as their impact on disease formation and prevention. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 103 , CHEM 104 , BIOL 125 , BIOL 246 , and BIOL 247 . UG
