The candidate will be introduced to Olivet’s Teacher Education program with a focus on the field experiences and clinical practice (student teaching) requirements; the importance of the conceptual framework; using the APA Writing Style for quality assignment performance; and connecting the Illinois Professional Teaching, Content-Area, Common Core, and Learning Standards to teaching and the licensure process including the content-area and professional teaching tests. The candidate will explore the process for becoming a reflective practitioner. The candidate will also have an opportunity to begin forging collaborative relationships with others entering the field of Education. GR
