Design of digital circuits with digital integrated circuit components and microcontrollers. Apply binary arithmetic and codes, and Boolean function simplification to logic gate circuits. Analyze and synthesize combinational circuits. Apply, program and synthesize microcontroller circuits to simplify sequential circuits and complex control logic. Prerequisite(s): ENGN 170 or CSIS 251.
