GNS 111 - Intrapersonal Leadership 3 hours Learners are introduced to the expectations and opportunities to develop intrapersonal leadership. The course is an overview of important concepts of self-management and an awareness of effective skills for implementation in college-level study. The course will assist individuals as they set the stage for success by focusing on ways to develop a healthy self-concept and by recognizing the relationships between the results of personal effort and constructive strategies for working, studying, and relaxing. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is used to help learners understand personality differences and how to use that information in their personal and professional lives, as well as in their new roles as students. The MBTI is also used to empower learners with effective team-building strategies for working in collaborative learning teams. By course end, learners will have composed personal career mission and vision statements to prioritize their daily work. CS
