PHSC 110 - Physical Science for Elementary Teachers

An introduction to physics and chemistry designed for Elementary and Early Childhood Education majors. Basic concepts applicable to the elementary school setting will be emphasized. The laboratory focuses on experiments that can be used by the teacher to illustrate the essentials of the disciplines. Laboratory safety, scientific methodology, and problem-solving are important topics. Offered every fall and spring. Prereq/Corequisite(s): EDUC 150. Three hours lecture, two hours laboratory. UG
