3 hours A survey course of the visual arts from the late 19th century up to 1945. Areas to be explored are Post-Impressionism, Dadaism, Expressionism, and Abstraction. Field trips to the Art Institute in Chicago will play an important role in the course. Prerequisite(s): ART 281, ART 282 UG
