CSIS 326 - Network Administration and Theory

Study of computer networks. Focuses on networking hardware and software including switches, routers, and network interface cards. Also includes both wired and wireless network communication media. The layered model of network communication provides structure for the discussion of the many protocols and services. Lab focuses on installation, setup, configuration, and administration of network devices and server based services such as DHCP, DNS, X.500, NFS, web server. Prerequisite(s): CSIS 251 or CSIS 255.
