Focuses on developing insights into the diverse cultural venue. An emphasis is on transcultural nursing and its contribution to holistic healthcare. Theories related to both the family and transcultural nursing will be explored. The assessment element of the nursing process is discussed in relation to the nurse’s role to provide culturally competent care.
