NRSG 665 - FNP Practicum 12 hours This experience focuses on the synthesis of previously gained knowledge and skills in the provision of advanced nursing care to individuals, families, and communities. Emphasis is placed on health promotion, disease prevention, and clinical management of clients with common acute and chronic illness. The students will fulfill 720 total clinical hours in their practicum. This practicum is divided into six sections, corresponding with the didactic courses in the FNP track (NRSG 667 , NRSG 668 , NRSG 669 , NRSG 670 , NRSG 671 & NRSG 672 ). Self-selected preceptors are approved consistent with each didactic course’s population focus. Prerequisite(s): All Core courses, or MSN degree with NRSG 627 . GR
