BSNS 385 - Fundraising, Networking and Community Engagement

This course focuses on basic principles and strategies of not-for-profit fundraising, donor engagement, donor development, community engagement, and board development. Topics include annual campaigns, special events, major gifts, planned giving, volunteer recruitment and leadership. Student will also be introduced to the topic of grant writing and be required to complete the introductory stages of preparation of writing an actual grant. Prerequisite(s): BSNS 160, BSNS 171. UG
