EDUC 990 - Dissertation in Practice Continuation 0 hours The dissertation in practice is a field-based, practice-centered inquiry, which consists of comprehensive applied research of significant importance. The dissertation in practice attests to the learner’s understanding of an issue and ability to conduct research related to the improvement of professional practice from which others benefit. This is the most rigorous portion of the Ed.D. in which learners are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of scholarship and inquiry. Continuation occurs when a learner is only enrolled in this course for the purpose of continuing work on the dissertation in practice. Enrollment in this course is contingent upon enrollment in the program during the preceding EDUC 911C course and with the approval of the Program Director. Candidates may enroll in this course for a maximum of three consecutive times. GR
