LIT 225 - Literary Theory 3 hours This course serves as an introduction to the philosophical foundations and practical application of literary theory. It includes a study of the major works, movements, and practitioners of literary criticism from Plato to the present. Students will explore several literary texts in order to apply the various critical approaches through discussion and writing. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 109 and ENGL 125 . UG
