EXSS 431 - Ethical Leadership in Sport and Recreation

Theories of ethics, values, and moral reasoning, as they apply to sport and the sport industry will be covered in this class. Additional topics, including Title IX, sportsmanship and fair play, winning, gender and racial biases, and use of performance-enhancing drugs will also be covered. The development of personal values and handling of ethical dilemmas in sport and the management of sport will be examined within the context of a Christian worldview.
