The School of Professional Studies includes nine departments: Business, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Exercise and Sports Science, Family and Consumer Sciences, Military Science, and Social Work and Criminal Justice. Building on a strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences, undergraduate men and women are offered the opportunity for focused preparation within a discipline and/or related disciplines. Multiple programs within the school meet professional accrediting standards and/or licensure requirements. Professors integrate faith with theory and practice to encourage the highest standards of professional preparation, ethical behavior, and the pursuit of excellence in the student’s chosen areas of study. The school is also the home of Olivet’s nationally ranked and award-winning Army Reserve Officers Training Program (ROTC).
