NUTR 655 - Legislative & Nutrition Policy 3 hours Familiarize and engage students in the process of policy making that pertain to nutrition problems or issues. An investigation and discussion on the role of stakeholders (individuals, corporations, federal and state agencies) in creating nutrition-related policy. A focus will be on the role of the nutrition professional in influencing public policy and advocating for populations and individuals. Students will complete 100 hours of experiential learning during this course. GR
