MUED 465 - Middle/Secondary Methods

The focus of this course will be music teaching for grades 6-12 in middle and secondary performance-based classrooms. Topics include philosophies and practices used in school performance-course settings, and edTPA. Characteristics, developmental issues, and administrative topics associated with teaching in middle school, junior high, and high school settings will be addressed. Prerequisite(s): successful completion of MUAP 225 and admission to the Teacher Education program. UG
