NRSG 647 - Transforming Leadership in Nursing

This course provides additional tools that a student will need to develop into a transformational nurse leader, including development of a business plan and assessment of stakeholders. Students will strategize and identify leadership and advocacy opportunities to promote a culture of excellence, foster teamwork and collaboration, and promote leadership development in others. Political and professional influences will be evaluated at the personal, public, and organizational level. Students will critically evaluate a systems-level emergency preparedness plan and will develop their own while leading through times of uncertainty and crisis. Prerequisite(s): NRSG 631. Prereq/Corequisite(s): NRSG 646. GR
