BIOL 331 - Conservation Biology 4 hours This course engages the interdisciplinary field of conservation biology by exploring the historical foundations of biological conservation, the ways human beings value biological diversity, why and how it is documented, the impacts of human society on species declines and extinction, and importantly, the methods and approaches used to conserve and restore species. Students will be exposed to local, national and international examples of species declines and conservation actions and conservation successes. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 125 . UG
