ACCT 346 - Accounting Info Systems/Data Analytics

The course will provide hands-on experience in recording business transactions including creating Chart of Accounts, customer and vendor lists, invoicing, purchases, paying bills and preparing financial reports using QuickBooks Online, culminating with becoming a certified user. The course will also introduce using Data Analytics to ask and answer accounting questions, learn the accounting data types and how they are used, as well as covering the types of tools for descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
