COMM 391 - Communication Ethics

This course is designed to help students understand the theoretical and philosophical framework of decision-making in communication. A variety of ethical systems (Christian, utilitarian, Aristotelian, etc.) are used to assist the student, and a case study approach is followed to examine the role of ethics in human communication, and in other communication disciplines, including public relations, journalism, advertising/marketing and broadcasting. Prerequisite(s): COMM 105 . UG
