NRSG 677 - Advanced Health Assessment I

Advanced Health Assessment I is the first of two courses that builds upon previously learned pathophysiological and pharmacological knowledge to develop advanced practice nursing knowledge as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Focused and comprehensive systematic physical examinations will be performed using advanced assessment techniques, concepts, and approaches to develop clinical management plans, including functional and risk assessments, and considering cultural, environmental, genetic/genomic, psychosocial, socioeconomic, and spiritual factors affecting an individual’s health across the lifespan. Prerequisite(s): NRSG 626, NRSG 627, NRSG 628, NRSG 653, NRSG 675, NRSG 676, NRSG 679, and NRSG 680. Prereq/Corequisite(s): NRSG 673 or NRSG 675 GR
